John and Theresa have agreed to host our annual church picnic at their farm on Sunday, September 14th following our Sunday morning service. They have plenty of chairs and tables although you are welcome to bring your favorite lawn chair if you'd like. The church will provide the meat and drinks and you are welcome to bring a side dish or your favorite desert. Come ready to enjoy corn hole, hay rides, and hanging out with some of the best people you'll ever meet. We hope you plan to join us and consider bringing a few friends and family members.

The town of Remington hosts a Turkey Trot 5K race that doubles as a fundraiser for FISH Food Pantry. We have been invited to volunteer at the event unless, of course, you'd prefer to run in the race. Last year we were stationed at different locations to direct the runners and cheer them on. All volunteers were asked to arrive by 8 a.m. The race started at 9:00 a.m. and it was over way before lunch time. It was a lot of fun and we hope you will consider joining us again this year. We realize it's a ways away but we want to let them know sooner rather than later so they can make plans for enough help. You can register using our church center app.
